Stacey is the President of SW Retail Advisors Inc. a consulting firm focusing on Retail Market Intelligence in Europe. SW Retail advises financial institutions as well as corporates and has offices in London & NYC. She is also an on air contributor for CNBC.
Seen on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, Forbes, Financial Times, London Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and The Today Show, Stacey Widlitz is a Retail Expert. Receiving her BA in Political Science from Tulane University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, Stacey started her career as a Retail Buyer for a major Department Store. Following her experience in the retail field, Stacey started her career on Wall Street covering Retail Equities.
After receiving an MBA from NYU, The Leonard Stern School of Business, Stacey joined the Institutional Investor ranked Retail Equity Research Team at PaineWebber (now UBS) where she spent 3 years covering an eclectic group of stocks from luxury to discounters. Following UBS, Stacey worked as a Senior Retail Analyst at SG Cowen, Fulcrum Partners and in 2005 was part of a team that launched the Pali Capital Research Department, where she covered Retail and Home Video for 5 years.
After more than a decade of experience covering Retail on Wall Street, Stacey launched SW Retail Advisors in 2011. She spends the majority of her time on the ground in European stores and is known for calling inflection points in stocks as a result of her channel checks. In her spare time she can be found on the polo field. She currently lives between New York City and London with her husband Roger.
